Download Zoom Package<\/strong><\/p>\n

To download Zoom package, navigate to Zoom Download Centre,and choose the package for your specific Linux type, OS Architecture and Version of OS. In this case you select Ubuntu as the Linux Type, 64 OS architecture and version 14.04+.
\nYou can download the package as shown below<\/p>\n

OR<\/p>\n

wget https:\/\/zoom.us\/client\/latest\/zoom_amd64.deb<\/a><\/p>\n

Go to the download location, select the file and right click on it. Click on Open With Software Install from the pop-up menu to open the installation dialog box.<\/p>\n

Install Zoom from the terminal<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the desktop, open the terminal. You can find it in the menu, or use the Ctrl+Alt+T\u00a0keyboard shortcut<\/a>.\u00a0If you are logged on to an\u00a0 Ubuntu server<\/a>, you already have access to a terminal.<\/p>\n

sudo apt-get update\n     OR\nsudo apt-get upgrade<\/code><\/pre>\nIt will ask for a password. You can use your account\u2019s password. You won\u2019t see characters on the screen while typing, so keep on typing your password and hit enter. This will update the packages in Ubuntu.<\/p>\n
$ wget -O Downloads\/zoom.deb https:\/\/zoom.us\/client\/latest\/zoom_amd64.deb<\/p>\n
$ cd Downloads
\n$ sudo dpkg -i zoom.deb<\/p>\n
Uninstalling Zoom<\/strong><\/p>\n
If you want to uninstall, run the following command in the terminal.<\/p>\n
sudo apt remove zoom<\/p>\nIf any error occur's please check app permission.\n1.Click the right button of mouse and go to permission tab <\/span>\n2.Give  Read and Write<\/span> Access and Tick Mark<\/span> in Allow executing files as program.<\/span>\n\n<\/span><\/pre>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
